🟪 How it Works for Degen
XP in the Degen ecosystem rewards creators, holders, and community members who contribute real value through token launches, trading, and DGN staking.
Degen actions fall into three areas, each with its own XP rules:
Token Activity (launching + trading graduated tokens)
DGN Staking (with Skull multipliers)
Graduation XP (creator + holder rewards at curve completion)
This page provides a high-level overview of how XP is earned within Degen. Detailed mechanics are available in the sub-pages.
🚀 1. Token Launch (Bonding Curve Spend)
Creators earn XP when they spend SOL to initialize or support the bonding curve for their token.
XP = 3.0 × log(1 + SOLspent / 0.1)Represents:
Creator commitment
Early liquidity provisioning
Initial economic contribution to the ecosystem

🎲 2. Meme Token Swaps (Post-Graduation Only)
Swaps on graduated Degen tokens earn XP based on trade size.
Important: Swaps during the bonding curve do not earn XP. XP activates only after graduation, once the token is on XDEX.
🔒 3. DGN Staking (Base XP Only)
Staking DGN earns base XP according to the amount staked.
This is the core XP source for DGN holders and long-term participants.

🎓 Graduation XP (Special Event XP)
Degen tokens do not generate XP while trading on their bonding curve. XP is minted only when a token successfully graduates from its curve.
Graduation XP is split between:
Creator — receives the majority (recommended 60%)
Holders — rewarded based on net SOL they kept at graduation

⚠️ Anti-Abuse Notes (Applied Automatically)
No XP for wash trading
No XP for self-buys or internal transfers
Micro-positions (< 0.01 SOL) at graduation earn 0 XP
Only net SOL held at graduation counts
Failed transactions earn 0 XP
